By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or shop.
1. About us and these terms
This website is run by Mitchelle Njoroge (“we”, “us”), a model and sustainability advocate in Nairobi, Kenya. “You” means anyone who uses the site or buys from the shop. You must be at least 18 to place an order, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.
2. Using the website
- Use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not try to break, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to it, or send us spam, malware or unlawful content.
- Information on the site (events, dates, prices, availability) is given in good faith and may change. We try to keep it accurate but cannot promise it is always complete or up to date.
- The site links to other websites and embeds videos from services such as YouTube and Vimeo. We do not control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
3. Ownership and copyright
The photographs, videos, podcast episodes, logos, text, designs and other material on this site belong to Mitchelle Njoroge or are used with permission from the photographers, brands and partners credited. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, edit, sell or use any of it for commercial purposes, or to train or feed software that generates content, without our written permission. For press and brand use, please see the media kit or contact us.
4. Orders and contracts
- Items in the shop are an invitation to order. When you press the order button you make an offer to buy.
- A contract is formed when we accept your order: for M-Pesa and card payments, when your payment is received and confirmed; for WhatsApp and cash-on-delivery orders, when we confirm the order to you.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price or description was shown wrongly, we cannot deliver to your area, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you paid, we will refund you in full.
- Please check your name, phone number and delivery address before you order. We use the phone number to confirm delivery.
- Please keep your order reference (it looks like MN-261017-AB12CD) when you contact us about an order.
5. Prices and payment
- All prices are in Kenya Shillings (KES). Delivery charges, where they apply, are added at checkout before you pay.
- You can pay by M-Pesa (a payment prompt is sent to your phone), by card through Paystack, by arranging the order with us on WhatsApp, or by cash on delivery for physical items. Not every method is always offered.
- We recalculate every price on our server when you order, so the total shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
- For cash on delivery, please have the exact amount ready. The courier may not have change.
6. Delivery
- Delivery charges: KES 300 within Nairobi and KES 600 elsewhere in Kenya; delivery is free on physical orders above KES 6,000. Digital products and sessions have no delivery charge.
- We will confirm a delivery time with you by phone, WhatsApp or email after your order. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by courier delays or events outside our control.
- Please check your parcel when it arrives and tell us within 48 hours if anything is damaged or missing.
- We deliver within Kenya unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
7. Digital products
- After your payment is confirmed we email a download link to the address you gave. Check your spam folder, and contact us if it does not arrive.
- Digital products are licensed to you for your own personal use. You may not share, resell, upload or distribute them.
- Because a digital product can be copied once delivered, it cannot be returned or refunded after you have downloaded it, unless it is faulty or not as described.
8. Sessions and bookings
- A training session, workshop or other service is booked once we have confirmed the date and time with you.
- Please tell us as early as you can if you need to change a booking. We will do our best to reschedule at no cost when you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may not be refundable.
- If we have to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you a new date or a full refund.
9. Returns and refunds
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 or any other Kenyan law.
- Faulty, damaged or not as described: contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with your order reference and photos. We will repair, replace or refund, and cover the return cost.
- Change of mind (physical items): you may return unused, unworn items in their original condition and packaging within 7 days of delivery. You pay the cost of sending them back. Items made or personalised for you, and signed prints, can only be returned if faulty.
- Digital products and services: see sections 7 and 8.
- How refunds are paid: to the same M-Pesa number or card you paid with, within 14 days of us approving the refund. Cash-on-delivery refunds are sent by M-Pesa.
10. Liability
We take care to provide the website and the products we sell, but they are provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our actions, for losses caused by events outside our control (such as network, courier or payment-provider failures), or for the content of other websites we link to. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Newsletter and messages
If you subscribe to the newsletter you agree to receive occasional emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We will also use your contact details to send order updates, receipts, download links and booking details; these are not marketing messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data and your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If we cannot settle a disagreement by talking it through, it will be dealt with by the courts of Kenya. We would always like the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before taking any other step.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
